Frank Griffo is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with over 20 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Driven by a deep commitment to improving his patient outcomes and advancing the practice of TCM, Frank set out to make herbal medicine more accessible, convenient, and effective. As a result of these efforts he founded Griffo Botanicals in 2015.
The Inspiration Behind Griffo Botanicals
Early in his acupuncture practice, Frank was often discouraged by the herbal options available to him and his patients. The process of preparing and consuming raw herbs was a significant hurdle for patients. Pills and capsules were ineffective and bore little resemblance to the original herbs. Powders were not only expensive but also led to low patient compliance.
Frustrated by the limited options available, Frank began crafting TCM tinctures as a practical solution. The tinctures proved to be effective, convenient, and well-received by his patients. Realizing the potential to help others, Frank expanded his vision and founded Griffo Botanicals to provide high-quality, handcrafted herbal products that would empower acupuncturists nationwide to achieve maximum results and improve patient care.
